"yes lots of children really believe it and thats what made it special. the best cute kid story is a make a wish girl i met. she was 6 years old and almost blind from her condition, but she could see if you were close enough. i spent hours with her on 3 different days that she was there, the last day the mother was sobbing and telling me how i was her daughters angel and how they were so happy she got to see me before she lost all sight. she asked if alice could join them at the character dinner. in wonderful disney fashion my managers said NO, alice could not extend her hours into character dining. so i said fuck it, got out of costume, went and bought her an alice doll and went to the dinner as myself to give her the doll. i figured she was almost blind and would have no clue i was alice without all the blue. i approached the mother at dinner who instantly started bawling and hugging me, i gave the little girl the alice doll and told her i was alices friend. i gave the mother my contact info and kept in touch with the family. the little girl passed away shortly after but the mother sent me a beautiful photo of her daughter and i walking down a path holding hands. she also sent me a silver angel that hangs on my wall. i was told they buried her with the alice doll. i cry thinking about it, but im glad i have those memories. there are SO many more amazing stories but that is my favorite."

Fun Fact: Morgan Freeman does his own stunts.

Fun fact: this was actually a two story window prior to Morgan Freeman sitting on the windowsill. Once the house realized who he was, it retracted itself into the ground to prevent injury to Morgan Freeman

For my first tattoo ever I picked the pulsar star map that is etched onto the plaques currently hurtling through space on the undercarriage of NASA’s Pioneer and Voyager probes. Meant (mostly symbolically) as a way for possible extraterrestrials to locate our solar system, it serves a few purposes in my mind. It’s a map home, a constant reminder of our place in the galaxy, and in many ways the first work of art (and a permanent one, at that) to leave the solar system (on Voyager I). This was done (beautifully, I might add) by Mina Aoki at Fun City Tattoo in NYC.

I love this
"I’m definitely pro-selfie. I think that anybody who’s anti-selfie is really just a hater. Because, truthfully, why shouldn’t people take pictures of themselves? When I’m on Instagram and I see that somebody took a picture of themselves, I’m like, ‘Thank you.’ I don’t need to see a picture of the sky, the trees, plants. There’s only one you. I could Google image search ‘the sky’ and I would probably see beautiful images to knock my socks off. But I can’t Google, you know, ‘What does my friend look like today?’ For you to be able to take a picture of yourself that you feel good enough about to share with the world – I think that’s a great thing."

Nothing beats this kind of intimacy, when it’s about 3am and it feels like you’re the only two people in the world. There are no words or intentions, you’re just happy lying next to each other knowing that you never want to do this with anyone else. Just to consider that you’re each, essentially, a bag of bones and organs and muscles, and yet you’re both so much more than that because you’ve found each other and suddenly everything makes so much sense.
